Launching the VEYA 53 Experience at Cannes 2026

The 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival marked the world premiere of the VEYA 53, and for us at Studio 3DX, it was also the first opportunity to present its new 3D Configurator alongside the real yacht.

VEYA may be a young brand, but there is considerable experience behind it.

Created through the collaboration between Fountaine Pajot and Couach Catamarans, VEYA combines Fountaine Pajot’s decades of experience in catamaran development with Couach’s long French shipbuilding heritage.

First introduced publicly in 2025, the VEYA project was created with a clear ambition: not simply to launch one yacht, but to establish a new range of premium power catamarans.

The VEYA 53is the first physical expression of that vision.

At 16.5 metres long and 7.96 metres wide, it offers the volume and openness expected from a large power catamaran while maintaining a strong connection with the sea.

The yacht is available in three- and four-cabin configurations, with a panoramic owner’s suite, a large forward lounge, an expansive flybridge with 360° views and an aft cockpit designed around outdoor living.

A hydraulic bathing platform, substantial storage for water toys and equipment, and a draft of only1.1 metres further reinforce that connection with the water.

Propulsion comes from twin Yanmar 440 hp engines, with550 hp engines available as an upgrade.

And Cannes brought another important recognition for the project.

Following its world premiere, the VEYA 53 was officially nominated for European Powerboat of the Year 2027, placing the first model from this new brand among the yachts recognised by the European marine industry this year.

For a yacht making its international debut, it was a particularly significant milestone.

Understanding the yacht, its layouts, spaces and design philosophy was also essential for us when developing its digital experience.

Our collaboration with the VEYA team had one shared ambition: to create something that goes beyond simply configuring a yacht and gets as close as possible to the feeling of actually being onboard.

With VEYA, we pushed the experience beyond the yacht itself.

The VEYA 53 sits within a dynamic marine environment with realistic water, changing time of day, animations, lighting and reflections.

The environment is generated dynamically rather than selected from fixed lighting scenes. Time of day and environmental data drive the lighting and reflections across the yacht, water and surrounding environment in real time, allowing the whole scene to respond naturally as conditions change.

The interior is fully accessible too, with the materials, lighting and level of detail designed to communicate the actual spatial experience of moving through the yacht rather than simply viewing a 3D model.

Customers can, of course, personalise layouts, colours, materials, finishes and equipment in real time — functionality already at the core of Studio 3DX configurators.

What makes the VEYA project different is the level of immersion surrounding that configuration experience.

Anyone who missed Cannes can now discover the VEYA 53 online, move from exterior to interior, explore its possibilities, create their own configuration and submit an enquiry directly through the configurator.

For those who stepped onboard in Cannes, the conversation can continue digitally. For those discovering VEYA for the first time online, the configurator can be where that conversation begins.

Cannes also gave us a glimpse of what comes next.

The VEYA 47 was officially revealed during the festival as the second model in the range, ahead of its planned world premiere at Cannes in 2027.

So within one week, VEYA YACHTS presented its first yacht to the international market, received an important European award nomination, unveiled the next model in its range — and launched a new digital way to experience and configure the VEYA 53.

Seeing the physical yacht and the digital experience we created for it together in Cannes was an important milestone for our team.

A big thank you to the entire VEYA Yachts team for the trust, ambition and close collaboration behind this project.

The VEYA 53 is now live.

Next milestone: the VEYA 47.

We’re looking forward to taking everything we learned from the 53 and pushing the experience even further.
