The Cannes Yachting Festival 2025 gave us more than just the yacht premieres and stunning displays — it reminded us how much impact real conversations make. Meeting familiar faces and discovering new energy has left us inspired, and eager to explore what we discussed in more depth.

It was a pleasure to witness Karnic Boats present the R8-S on its first appearance at Cannes, alongside the CS10-HT,S37, and SL902— each model underscoring Karnic’s dedication to design, performance, and refining the boating experience. With Nautimar Marine Marketing Ltd., stepping aboard Van der Valk’s LALABE and meeting the Van der Valk team reinforced how dealer-shipyard relationships can drive quality and vision.

Exploring layouts digitally, right in front of the real thing - how technology meets craftmanship in Cannes.

Quarken was another reconnection after Düsseldorf. Always open to discussing the future of yachting, we saw their evolving approach with the Quarken 35 Cabin— its twin 300HP outboards and modular terraces drew crowds. Watching how people lingered over its versatility showed us how much potential there is in true design.

Among other companies,B-Craft stood out thanks to Roeland and Joris’ passion when describing the Akoya’s retractable anchor and automated features — a reminder of how craftsmanship is also storytelling. Halma RIB impressed with theHR30: a wide-beamed maxi-RIB with teak detailing and a huge forward sunpad, while the team’s attention to small user comforts made the boat feel both practical and luxurious. HH Catamarans reinforced why their HH44 continues to turn heads — lightweight carbon construction, hybrid-ready propulsion, and a cockpit design that felt social yet purposeful.

NEEL Trimarans highlighted their new NEEL 48’, designed to combine comfort and stability without losing sailing performance; listening to their team talk about safety and live-aboard ease reminded us why trimarans are finding new fans. Aicon Yachts presented the Audace 50, where the redesigned interiors and open cockpit were as inviting as the conversations we had with their team about client expectations for choice and finish.

At Schaefer Yachts, standing beside the 510 GT, we spoke about how their clients value elegance alongside performance — every window line and upholstery detail felt intentional. YYachts showed how carbon builds like the Y6 can deliver luxury sailing even with a smaller crew, striking a balance between performance and livability. Leonardo Yachts made an impression with the Eagle 46— intuitive cockpit and two versions (carbon or vinylester) give owners real flexibility.

Cannes painted the sky in brilliant colours.

Comitti charmed with their Venezia 34, where a quick glance at the wood finishes under the late afternoon light said everything about Italian heritage and elegance. Nautic Yachts demonstrated the value of consistency and detail in their owner experience, while Ora Yacht stunned with her central spiral staircase and the 180-degree observation lounge — spaces that left a strong impression of design made for living. And at Nerea Yacht, seeing the NY40 Veloce’s triple outboard setup hit high speeds while still feeling composed it was a true blend of style and raw performance.

These moments — conversations, smiles, quick demonstrations, and stories — are what make Cannes special. And they reinforced for us at Studio 3DX how technology can help showcase these yachts in their full potential digitally. Whether it’s showing a client how a layout flows, letting them toggle finishes, or helping teams align across locations, 3D is not about replacing the experience on the docks — it’s about extending it, making it more accessible, and supporting the relationships that start here.

Thank you to everyone who shared their time, insights, and energy in Cannes. Reconnecting and meeting you all in person reminded us: every model, every design decision, every new texture, layout, or feature has a story. If you’d like to continue the conversation about how 3D can support your vision, we’d be delighted to arrange a time to talk.

Here’s to building what comes next — with design, clarity, and vision.
